Hi there! My name is Carlos.

I’m a program and sales specialist with a diverse background working at the intersection of nonprofit, wellness, and small business. My expertise lies in operations, partnerships, and program development. I’m a certified Holistic Fitness Specialist through Trinity School of Natural Health with a proven track record of surpassing sales goals and elevating client satisfaction.

 

I’ve spent the past decade of my career in the health and wellness space as a fitness professional. However, I’d say a better representation of my career is that I’ve built and refined skills that have enabled me to better support my clients, collaborate cross-functionally and build community with empathy as the driver. The skills I’ve built and the experiences I’ve had are easily transferrable to a new industry, which I’m eager to explore at a new company. With everything that has happened with the pandemic, I’m in a place where I’m looking for a new career opportunity that combines all the different aspects of my life that matter to me: fitness, youth and community development, and opportunities to grow and build new skills.

​Outside of work, I’m an avid long-distance hiker, obsessed with mountaineering, a college football enthusiast, and dad to a Goldendoodle named Delilah. I’m also working on a new fitness non-profit called Function Wellness, a wellness brand whose sole purpose is to offer a modern approach to fitness education and programming.
