Every Body Has a Story

We are a movement equity collective transforming how communities access and define wellness through systematic capability development and community empowerment.

Through our synergistic approach—where our for-profit entity Function creates the conditions where movement becomes personally transformative by designing progressive environments that honor individual definitions of growth, supported by strategic methodology and partnerships we trust to serve each person's unique journey, while our non-profit DONKS extends these practices to systematically excluded populations—we create an ecosystem where both initiatives amplify each other's impact while advancing their unique purposes.

Our trauma-informed, culturally responsive services amplify the voices and lived experiences of marginalized populations, including underserved youth, individuals with disabilities, and older adults. By centering equity and fostering inclusive spaces, we create environments where movement becomes a powerful catalyst for personal growth, collective healing, and community empowerment.

With our unconventional, grassroots spirit, we challenge mainstream wellness norms that have historically excluded many communities. We prioritize the transformative potential of adaptive movement experiences that evolve with you, creating organic "exposure therapy" through collaborative exploration while building community in progressive spaces that are accessible to all. Our philosophy is simple yet revolutionary: come as you are—there is programming for you, regardless of ability, background, or experience.

As cultural bridge-builders, we collaborate with community stakeholders and partner organizations that share our commitment to true inclusivity. We seek to build the most diverse movement ecosystem possible, deliberately reaching niche and fringe demographics that traditional fitness spaces have overlooked or excluded.

Through personalized 1-on-1 coaching that adapts to each individual's unique journey, youth empowerment programs, specialized classes for older adults with degenerative diseases, community-based workshops, adaptive movement classes, and educator training, we're establishing a future where wellness is recognized as a right, not a privilege. Our vision extends beyond individual transformation to collective liberation—where communities have the resources, knowledge, and agency to define and pursue wellness on their own terms, in progressive spaces designed for growth, with no barriers to participation.
